Selecting task templates within TaskMeister allows you to put just the templates that interest you in the template list table, and to work on them from there. By design it resembles the same selection command for tasks so you can guess how it works from that experience.

Most selection conditions are based on picklists. This allows you to view templates related to certain organizational departments or projects, to the default status (proposed, authorized to do, etc.), to the default priority (high or low), or to custom template types you define. You can also type free form text, for example, "password bug" if that is all you can recall about a template, and TaskMeister will show you all the templates that contain "password bug" in their name, description or notes.

You can also save a selection condition, and then reuse it over and over.

Finally, clicking on the Reselect button will redisplay a list of templates based on your selections. If the list is empty, go back and widen the search criteria. Selecting "Any" in a picklist that currently has a value in it is a quick way to widen your search.
