This is the individual's payment preference. eTaskBoard Coordinators sets up the picklist based on what they have experience using.

Any time after your account shows completed tasks, you can use eTaskBoard's pay request form to request payment for those tasks. That form will show this picklist, defaulting to the one you select here.

If you don't see the payment method you wish, select Other and give us the details so we can look into it.

Each payment option has its advantages and disadvantages such as the fees they charge, which are subtracted from our payment to you. Your sysadmin can change the list, but below are some notes about some common options:

Bank Acct Transfer - If you bank with the same bank as your eTaskBoard account, this is usually your best choice. They transfer your payment from their account to your account instantly and without fees.

Paper Check - No fees, but you have to wait for the postman.

Paypal - Quick and easy for small payments, but their percentage cut grows with the amount.

Purchase Account - You instruct your eTaskBoard manager to purchase products and services for you. This sometimes works when you don't have the credit card or purchasing power of your eTaskBoard account's company.

Western Union - High fees and risky. Usually the choice when nothing else works.

Wire Transfer - This is a transfer between different banks. It takes a day or more and has a fixed fee amount between $10 and $30. Not a good choice for small amounts, but a good choice for large amounts since their fee doesn't increase as a percentage. Setting up a recurring transfer order with the sending bank reduces the fee and makes things go faster.
